Lifeboat Integrated Servicing Programme
LISP
Adhering closely to the safety requirements of MODU, SOLAS and IMO, the Techno Fibre Group has developed an “all-in-one” inspection programme known as LISP.
This system of documentation encompasses the complete range of safety equipment found on an operational offshore platform, rig or vessel.
The inspection system is designed to accurately record all information related to each individual item of equipment, such as expiry dates, replacement dates, and information regarding testing or recertification criteria.
The range of items to be inspected and checked for regulatory compliance extends not only to lifeboats and davits, but across the spectrum including rescue boats, liferafts, immersion suits, pyrotechnics, lifejackets, lifeboats, LSA equipment, fire extinguishers and more.
All items are fully checked, any required recommendations listed via a formalised set of documents, enabling real time monitoring of the status of all aspects of the survival equipment at any given time.
The system also allows accurate monitoring of time sensitive equipment, and adequate notice for logistical purposes for replacement. Upon submission of the detailed condition report of each lifeboat and/or davit, a detailed budgetary quotation for servicing, upgrading or repairs can be submitted upon request.
This will enable correct work schedule identification, and priorities can be ascertained by the owners according to available resources, and available time frames for work completion.
